St.Joseph's College and Southlands College excel in RichMinds Rapid

RichMinds Inter School Rapid Chess Championship was held on 26th February using Tornelo online chess platform. It was organized by the Richmond College Chess Association under 4 age categories. The arbiters were Mr.Thiwanka Tissera (IA), Mr.Dayal Siriwardane (IA), Mr.Niroshan Chathuranga (FA), and Mr.Gihan Perera (FA). 

In addition to the first three individual places, the best teams of each age category and overall were selected based on the predefined points system. St.Joseph's College, Colombo 10 was crowned as the overall best school by becoming the champion of the Under 9 category and the 1st runner up of the Under 11 category. Southlands College, Galle became the Best Girls School by becoming the Best Girls School in the Under 15 category.
