The Sri Lanka Women's National Rapid Chess Championship was held 22nd Saturday, August 2020 at Sathara Building, Maharagama.
WIM S.D. Ranasinghe The number 1 seated player from Nf3 Chess Club managed to become the Women's National Rapid Chess Champion 2020, half a point ahead of WCM K.M. Dahamdi Sandula who became the 1st runner-up after better tiebreak against WFM H.Y. Nevanjee Dimanya.
The Seven rounds event was conducted under the time control of 15 minutes at the start of the game and 10 seconds increment per move for each player.
